I’ve always wanted to play the Opera House. I’ve VJd there, and helped with some events, but hadn’t played on that lovely stage until I got a message from Spacker telling me 4 hours before the show that we were playing that night. In May we released “The Booty Sessions” - 7 versions of Mississauga Booty Call, including Transylvania Booty Call, Orion Slave Girl Booty Call, and North Pole Christmas Booty Call.

In July, Spacker Dave announced that he would be moving to California to be with his darling lady. We thank him for his two years on this deranged project. At his last show in July, we held “live auditions” with a few bass players, mainly as a joke. But Mark Watts was a such a sassy player and good dude that we had to keep him. Around December 20th was the 11th anniversary of when I came up with the name High Heels Lo Fi. Wow. Time flies. It’s amazing how much this project has evolved.

Your entertainment is the reason we haul gear in the freezing cold at 4am, sweat our butts off on stage, practice until far past our bedtimes, and are always brainstorming new things. Without rock & roll people, we have no point.
